Happy Birthday Mom!

So on a day like today what do I do with my time? Bake, a lot. Let me tell you, I feel like I was in the kitchen all freakin' day. It's insane. Course, it wasn't really all day, but it felt like it. I was whipped man! I had a good reason for spending all day in the kitchen though. It was me madre's birthday and I was baking her a cake. Heehee, aren't I a good 'un? It makes up for all the not-so-good things I do. Okay, not really, but sometimes it's nice to delude oneself.

I also baked some cookies. Gingersnaps and these weird snowball Christmas things. I didn't dare touch the weird-snowball-Christmas things, they had white chocolate in them (and that stuff is the bane of my existence. Okay, not really, but still). The gingersnaps where as yummy as ever though! My bestest homie ever came over as well to make some cookies for a cookie exchange tomorrow, and we had a blast goofin' off, but we always have a blast so that's not newsworthy. xP

Blowin' out the candles.

My padre said it was an abstract 38...I was cornfused, but it's all good.
They told me a cake should look like this. I disagreed.
xP
Cheesin'!
I'm tellin' you, once you eat one of my gingersnaps you'll never look at a storebought one the same.
I know it looks like a ball of wax, but it was delicious....and homemade icing always turns out funky!

Twilight

So normally I wouldn't make a post like this, but for anyone who's asked me about the Twilight series I just had to, because as you know (if you've asked me) I refuse to read those books. Everything I've heard has turned me off. Bella's a pansy, Edwards waaaayyyy to over protective, and...well, actually that's basically it. But since they're the main characters, I mean, it's told from Bella's point of view, I figured "Why torture myself?" And while I don't think I'm going to attack my sisters in the morning and be like "OhmyGod.OhmyGod.OhmyGod. I HAVE to read Twilight!", I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It was fantabulous.

Everything just seemed to click. From the die hard Twilight fans that can only see the movie through the books eyes I know it's just absolutely appalling how they fucked up the movie, but from a movie stand point it's great. Definitely worth the two hours it takes to watch. I mean, yes it gets a little corny at points, and sometimes I could puke there's so much lovin' goin' on (we do have to remember that, hey, I ain't the romantic type), and even the movie I want to ring Bella's neck a couple of times (she's such a freakin' pansy. Ugh.) but as a whole it gets two thumbs up. Edward got a little bit of slack from me because Robert Pattinson is really freakin' hot. I think I was drooling when I wasn't chewing on my headphones. Haha. Though he was a little protective-possessive. I guess even vampires can't be perfect. Too bad.

So that's about it. I had to post about that, because I know I found it amusing I like the movie so much when I so vehemently oppose the books, and maybe you did too....though I'm not surprised if you didn't.

Ughs and A Ring

So today was a very good day. We saw my Aunt for the first time in a while...the last time I recall seeing her was July of '07, but my memory might be faulty. We also got to meet her friend, who was a very nice, if somewhat strange fellow. Course, who am I to talk? We also got to eat at a really fancy resturant, and new undertaking for me. It was amazinering. And then we got to go to the Spy Museum, which most of us had never been to before. That place was awesome, though I would love to go back on a less crowded day. My far away friends should come to DC and that can be my excuse for spending forever there. xP Not that I need one....Anyhoo, one of the best parts of the day. I got my Ughs! Yes, Ughs, not Uggs.
See, my Aunt just spent two weeks in Australia and brought back genuine Australian Ughs, not Uggs (which are made in China), for me, Abi, and my Mom. The design is exactly the same as the Uggs everyone sees around, but ours are from Down Under. And then! Total bonus, my hand randomly handed me her ring that I had been admiring, whic
h was from Fiji! She spent a day or two there before continuing on to Australia.
Ughs. They're adorable, chocolately, and oh so very comfortable.

This is the oh so snazzy ring. It's made from coconut! Ain't it purdy?

So yeah, today was a good day. I had a lot of fun running around DC with my family (minus the brother, social recluse that he is). Sadly, I didn't actually take any pictures. It's just not something I think about until after the fact. But I don't feel so bad, my Mom even forgot this time. xP My Aunt took some pictures on her camera and is going to send us a CD of pictures, so if I feel like it I can post some of those pictures. Or maybe I won't. Who knows with me?
And now, I'm off to play Kung-Fu.

What!?

Man!! I am so freakin' bummed! The Aliens never showed. I had been so excited, I was looking forward to some benevolant guidance. But I guess there was a HUGE traffic jam in hyperspace. And I'm talking HUGE!!! Hopefully they'll show up in a couple of days...I'm starting to doubt it though. I guess I'll just have to wait for the Asgard to show up and take me away....of the Goa'uld to come and attack. Lord knows when that could be.

The Aliens Are Coming!?

So I was clicking around the boards on FP (an online game I play) and was delighted by this post someone had made. Apparently, the aliens are coming tomorrow!? I'm pretty freakin' excited. So all ya'll need to keep an eye out for their humungo ship. Kay? Kay. And take a picture and text it to me, cause with my luck I'll probably miss it.

And for some more alien excitement go to this blog. You know you want to.

Ya Know Those Great Text Conversations

That you just don't want to get rid of, but don't have the space to keep 'em on your phone and don't have a memory card to put them on? Well I have one of those and I have to immortilize it on this fair blog of mine. So, it probably won't make any sense to you, but this post is for more, not you. :D

So a buddy of mine, we'll call her Coolio 9000, were having a perfectly normal conversation about indoor soccer when I found out that -GASP!- she won't be playing on the same team as me this year, but against me. So what did that turn into?

Me: I'll see you on the field then. Be prepared to get scored on!
Coolio 9000: Hah! In your dreams
Me: In yours! I will so score on you. Pwnage will be mine!
Coolio 9000: Oh yeah?! Puh-leeze. Get ready to be owned!
Me: No way! I will cram that ball down your throat!
Coolio 9000: I'm gonna shove it where the sun don't shine!
Me: Hahah. Only in anger because I will have owned you!
Coolio 9000: Naw! It'll be in triumph after I deny your ass.
Me: You can deny my ass as long as you don't deny my goals! xP
Coolio 9000: Psht, you're gonna get denied!
Me: Never! My ball will slide right past your outstretched hands and it'll be beautiful! You will be owned.
Coolio 9000: My outstretched hand is gonna block the ball and trip you up. Then my drop kick is going to float past the keep for the best damn goal ever!
Me: No, because the only way you'll block it is if it's someone else, and in that case I'll be in goal and make the best damn save ever!
Coolio 9000: Oh lawd you keep dreaming.
Me: I will! And when we play you that dream will become a reality!
Coolio 9000: Yeah right you just wait!
Me: I wait with baited breath because I need some good owning!
Coolio 9000: I look forward to the owning of you.
Me: Ch'ya right. I am owned by nobody!
Coolio 9000: Soon to be me.
Me: Never! I am as free as the eagles! I may be tagged, but I will never be owned.
Coolio 9000: I'll cage you like a panda.
Me: Hahah. I'll use my kung fu on you.
Coolio 9000: I'll be a hidden dragon and ambush you.
Me: My crouching tiger will claw your firey ass to shreds!
Coolio 9000: My house of flying daggers will protect me and demolish you.
Me: My personal force field will protect me and rebound your flying daggers back at you and cut you up.
Coolio 9000: The force is gonna send them right back.
Me: I'll have Scotty beam me up and out of harm.
Coolio 9000: I'll have the tribbles occupy Scotty.
Me: I'll have Q come and take me away.
Coolio 9000: I'll get Kligon Q to bring you back.
Me: I'll have him distracted by the tribbles.
Coolio 9000: I've 6 more where that came from.
Me: 6 makes no difference against the power of Darth Vadar!

So yeah, that's pretty much how our fantabulous conversation ended. We proceeded to discuss Star Wars in more detail, but none of it was as epic as the originial conversation. I just love how start at soccer, and end up at Star Wars while traversing through pandas, eagles, Star Trek, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. Definitely epic. This is the same chick I had an epic conversation about Hobo's with, but those texts are long deleted, and I'm not a genius who can go into cyber space and find them -sigh-. Most definitely was that an epic conversation. Dude, I love my Life.

See? Not Crazy,

A couple of weeks after I got back from my LIFE is Good adventure my sister was watching Michael, ya know, that John Travolta movie where he's an angel? Yep, that one. Well I heard my Mom cracking up, and then I heard my name being called. So I went downstairs and was told "Olivia! Your kegel move isn't an original!" and proceeded to watch as Travolta danced it out with all the ladies in the bar, and about a minute into their dancing he was doin' my kegel move. Cracked me up. Then I was going to tell Diana that I really wasn't crazy, but that would be ridiculous (because I am), and I had no idea how to explain it anyway, so I just didn't and forgot about it. And now, these several months later, I had an epiphany in the shower (isn't that were all your best ideas happen? That, or the crapper.) and I went on youtube, figuring, hoping, they would have the video. And vwala! There it was. So now you know I'm not crazy and I was just copying an uber cool dude. :D

Flyin' Solo

Well that really was easy! Hahah, I took the drivers test yesterday, and got a grand total of two points off because I crossed the line into the invisible oncoming traffic. But I do that all the time, no biggy. xP

And here I am, all excited. See my cheesin smile?

And then, to celebrate my victory (okay, really it was just to have fun), I drove me n Audrey n Cece to The Great Frederick Fair. Where we had a blast hanging out with a whole hullabaloo of people, and running into more as we ran around for five (six?) hours. Then I drove us, and some extras, home. Sadly, this is the only picture I have from the fair.
See, so sad....only picture....-sigh-.

Bit o Crazy

No you see the trouble with poet is how do you know it's deceased....sorry, I'm watching Sweeney Todd, and that brings the possibility of random Olivia singing.

So let us see, what's new in good 'ole Olivia Universe? Hmm...dance started two weeks ago. This year I'm doing Musical Theater and Jazz. Hip-Hop was fun, but I'm enjoying Jazz and MT so much more. I have the same teacher as last year (for both classes!), which makes me uber happy. If I'm lucky enough I'll get her next year for Jazz and MT as well. I'm also training to run a half marathon. I admire those people who run a full marathon, but I just don't think I could run for that long, because, stamina aside, I'd get bored. Two hours, give or take a couple of minutes, is long enough for me. Ooo! And I go in for my drivers test on the 19th, woo-hoo! Then I cruise. Or, ya know, if I'm driving the stick, I lurch. Anyway, I'm excited. Though most everyone seems to fear it, but that's just because I'm "irresponsible".

This weekend we're farm sitting for Danielle and Co., should be pretty fun. Mom and I are going to spend some of tomorrow watching poor, nervous, sweaty teenagers take the drivers test up at the DMV, cause the best way to learn is through watching others mistakes. Tonight I go see The Dark Knight again, cause I love that movie and I pretty much demand all my friends see it on the big screen.

By the sea!! Don't you love the weather!! By the sea, we'll grow old together! Hahah, I love that song. And that red candy cane lookin' dress she wears is FABULOUS!!!! I want one. Actually, pretty much I want her and all of her outfits. Him too. It should be against the law to have so much beautiful in one movie. Actually, it shouldn't, cause then I'd be sad.

And that was my bit o crazy kickin' in.

Hmm...I think I am done. Not sure, I probably have more news, but I can't remember it, and I'll just keep typing it until I do and any poor readers that are reading this will have a lot to read, so I shall be done...after this. No, I'm not going to sing, I'm just gonna write that I had received my second holes. They're oh so snazzy.

Sigh

What's a girl to do when her favorite tv show gets pulled? Stargate Atlantis was canceled a couple of days ago, so once this season is over I guess my Friday nights will be free (but who knows, I just might sit in front of the tv from 10-11 making up a show as I go). Luckily, they're going to make a movie (or two), so at least I'll have that little piece of the pie. So long friend.

On another note, I get my license in two weeks, or maybe three, but either way it's soooooon. And then!!!! I'll be able to drive myself to work, dance, and soccer. Well, work once I get a job anyway. Sheetz has yet to call me about my application, and I have yet to turn in my application to The Common Market (see how productive I am on my job hunt?). But I'm not rushing, we're going to the beach at the end of September so I figure if I don't get one what's it matter cause then I know for sure I'll have off the entire week.

So uh, yeah, I think that's it. I can't think of anything else to say....hmm.....nope, nothing comes to mind. Ain't it crazy how I can go on and on in person, but you put me behind a computer screen and I'm like "......" Hmm...

Yay!

After a year and a half (give or take a couple of months) I'm getting to see my rarely seen cousin Kayla. As little kids we were more like sisters, the older sibling I don't have. As we grew up things in our lives changed and we grew apart, but whenever she comes into town I love the chance to hang out with her. Tonight is that chance, it's a little after eleven now and she'll be her in about two hours, and tomorrow we'll go down the creek. Sadly, I don't have any pictures from the past years to show you because I don't have printer that works to scan in the old pictures and my pictures of pictures just didn't turn out. I'll have it be known, we were very cute. Course, we still are, but we were cute in that little kid cute way. (: Anyhoo, I am off now to make a cup o joe cause I need to be awake still in two hours.

List of UpDates, 'Cause I'm too lazy to do anything more complex

Just a couple of updates.

1) I made it home fine.

2) I had my wisdom teeth cut out on Monday. For the first couple of days my face was, like, a zillion and a half times bigger than it normally is, but now the swellings gone down and it's only about twice the size. The stitches come out on Monday and I'm hoping the swelling will go down even more then. But for now, I shall run around the house looking like a chipmunk. -Imagine dramatic sigh here-

3) Charlotte's here! We've been wanting to host an exchange student for several years now, and finally we had the time to host one. I haven't spent much time with her (preferring to hide in my room with my aching mouth), but the little bit of time I have spent with her I really like her. She's quiet (which is funny considering none of us our), but she's also outgoing, not afraid to ask questions and say what she wants. I'm looking forward to spending the next month with her.

4) I turned sixteen about a week ago and Nic turned fifteen. I don't really feel any different than fifteen, I definitely don't feel sweet. xP

5) We're not moving to my Grandparents house anymore. Instead we're going to move....somewhere else. Don't know where yet. I'm rooting for Vancouver, B.C. but I'm thinking it'll be somewhere closer to....well, here.

6) ....Actually, I don't think I have a sixth update....WAIT!!! YES I DO!!! And it's the most exciting. Stargate Atlantis starts in Two Weeks, Three Hours, and 14 Minutes!!! :D I'm so very excited!!! If you couldn't tell.

Okay, that really is it.

White Water Rafting

Is totally righteous, I am not kidding you. Well, it's totally righteous if you don't mind getting soaking wet and/or falling out of your raft.

Ya know, it's a funny thing falling out of rafts. Take my Aunt for example, I kept telling her it was going to be her, that if any of us went it would have to be her. Why? Mostly to antagonize her. :D Turns out I was right though, and it makes for some good laughs. Watch this clip I made of my poor Aunt, who is at this present moment, my favorite form of entertainment.

Sorry there's no music, I'm not home and don't have my full library of music. I had wanted to use Evanescence's Going Under, but like I said, I don't have my full library of music, so alas. I find it hilarious, course maybe you have to be there and know the chick to think it's funny.

Anyhoo, that was my Tuesday evening. Probably one of the best times I've had since I started my trip. And now I get to go home and turn sixteen, and then get my wisdom teeth out. Ooo, and our exchange student shows up....the same day I get my teeth out.

Done With The Greyhound

Here I am, finally, in Colorado, after some 24+ hours on the Greyhound. Let me say that is an experience I will never forget. By no means a bad experience, but most definitely an interesting one. Most of the people seemed to be on the poorer side of Life, so they gave off a different vibe then those on the planes. There were definitely some creeps, but there were also some really nice people and I enjoyed talking to them. Luckily for me, I had pulled an all nighter Sunday night 'cause I had gone baking with Diana and then just stayed up and packed, which made it a lot easier for me to fall asleep in those uber uncomfortable seats. Of course, I was so tired I ended up hallucinating that I was having a conversation via text....and in the end I still didn't get very much sleep, about six hours or so in all, but it was enough for me to smile for this picture.
My Aunt and cousin were waiting for me when I got off and they whisked me off back to their house. I spent the rest of the day running around with my cousin, and then chilling at the house. I'm too tired to do much of anything. We'd been talking about going to the rodeo but it looked like it was going to rain so we nixed that idea.

I'm not sure what we have planned for while I'm here, probably just hanging out. My other Aunt and Uncle are going to be picking me up on Sunday, and I have a full week planned with them so maybe I'll just chill out while I'm here.

On a final note, despite how I acted, I was loathe to leave Corvallis and my homepeople there. I'm gonna miss the area, it had a sweet vibe to it. Be warned Corvallis, I have more then half a mind to come out for an extended stay (somewhere along 3-4 months).
Peace, and Goodnight.

Conference

LIFE is Good was awesome. Contrary to my plans, I took hardly any pictures (I think Diana's constant picture taking made me think my LIG journey was getting documented). If they ever find anyway to take memories and turn 'em into pictures I'll be sure to post them. Anyhoo, I had a kick ass time. I only did one funshop (Condom Art, or whatever it was called), and I just spent a lot of the weekend socializing. I sadly, did not fulfill my plans to embarrass Danielle, though I did hear people weren't to believe a word I said about her.

I received two new names whilst hanging out. One little girl decided to call me Silly Clown or just Clown after a night of me playing in the rain to amuse myself, and in turn it amused her. I actually don't think that she knows my real name.... Another girl (as her Mom later told me) calls me her donkey and/or horsey because while the parents were sitting around drinking wine/beer I was entertaining one two of the kids by being their horsey (the older one calls me her horsey/donkey). I actually have a photo of that, courtesy of Diana. (And dude, random addition, the spell check on this thing counts horsey as a word, whodathunk?) Oh, and dude again, I have a photo of me in the rain. Just found it.

(Yes, I got wetter then that. And, yes, the string of my pants is over my neck.)
I think that's what I loved the most about this conference, the little kids. They're everywhere, and they love me. I may never be able to cater to older peoples sense of humor, but little kids, man they think I am a riot. Nice for an ego boost.
Hmm, I think that's all I have to say for now. At least, that's all I can remember to say....write. What do you call this? Ah, who cares. I'm gonna go watch Sweeney Todd with some new comers to the Sweeney Todd cult. Poor deprived souls.
Peace.

I'm Off

Well, I'm almost off. It is, at exactly this moment, 12:05, and I get up in less then four hours to go to the airport. But the late night last minute packing will all be worth it when I get out there. I just may have to sleep for 16 hours one night to catch up on sleep. xP

To everyone I'm leaving, I shall see you in three and a half weeks. To everyone I'm going to, I'll see you less then 24 hours. Hoo-hah. Man I'm tired.....

We're Moving!

Fo sho! I'm so excited. After six years in Frederick, we're moving back to Washington County. But more importantly, a bigger house with a creek and woods. Oh yes, we have hit a haven of sorts. Actually, the house we're moving to had been (still is right now) my Grandparents house. They've lived there for something like 30 years, but they're moving out. Last I heard it was a toss up between Pennsylvania and Florida...though I'm sure my Grandfather, at least, would prefer Florida. We too, were looking to move out, so there you have it. Great timing.

The 'rents are looking at putting our house on the market by June, and we hope to be out of here by late June or early July, which means I'll be having a belated birthday party at the new place. I'm thinking we'll go tubing. :D

Anyhoo, that's my snazzy news. Now I just have to pack up a majority of my room before I leave for Oregon (whilst packing for Oregon) and I'll be good to go. Hmm, maybe I should get started with that....

Driving Fun

Aiight, so about a month ago now I got my permit. Whoo-hoo! Pretty exciting stuff. It was apparent early on that I was going to have issues with the lines (I mean, c'mon, they're lines, they keep you in, I don't like being kept in :P). I'm getting better about that, though I still have a tendency to drift over to the white line. And I'm almost always going too slow or too fast, depends on the car and who I'm driving with.

Anywho, so it's been a month (about) and while I was at my Grandma's today she was like "Hey, you wanna put up some barrels and practice parallel parking?" I was like "Dude, totally!" I love any chance to goof off in the car. So we set up two barrels and I learned to parallel park. I worked on that for an hour and a half, I killed a couple of pedestrians, dented the Mercedes and the BMW, but besides that things went pretty well. And I took some pictures to show my amazing parking skills.

Probably my best park job of them all. Right next to the curb, and no dead pedestrians or dented cars. xP

This was the BMW (driven by a mister Benjamn More Weston) I kept denting. If he didn't park so damn close....

And this is the Mercedes, didn't dent him quite as much, but I think I hit him harder when I did hit him.... And this is one of my "You could've done better....a lot better" park jobs. :D

And this, well this is my oh so cheesy carmate Abidoodle. She's pretty damn funny, we had a good time listening to music, singing, dancing, laughing, you know, chillin' like sisters do. Good times.
Ya know, it's days like today that make me go "Oh yeah, Life is truly good."
Anywho, that was a majority of my day. But it, along with everything else, was oodles of fun.
Peace out, wish me luck on the driving, and have good day (night. thing. whatever.).

A Little Catch Up

Ah Easter, the time of year for peace, happiness, and joy. Kinda like Christmas, but instead of presents you hunt for eggs and a basket and get cavities. Righteous man. Course, I didn't hunt for eggs cause I was in North Carolina and the other Smiths don't let anyone over the age of 13 hunt for eggs (and didn't hunt for a basket cause I was a piss when I got home and made Cece just give it to me). I did, however, lose my phone. Correction, I lost it, but it was later found, water logged and smellin' like a shit hole. Yeah, I dropped it in the toilet. See, I'd leaned over to flush the toilet and after successfully doing that I heard a small "plop" sound, and when I looked in the toilet for the source to my horror I saw my phone swirling around with my pee. Instead of immediately acting I thought "I really should grab for that, because it will go down and then I'll be in the shit hole." but I didn't, so it did. After that I reached as far down the pipe as I could to see if I could reach it, but, of course, I couldn't. So I gave up, dried my toilet water covered arm and went to tell either Eloise or Larry that they just may be having some toilet problems in the near future and to call me when the bill came.
And Dude, that wasn't even the most exciting part of my evening (as a matter of fact, that was kind of heartbreaking). The most exciting part was Jay finding the baby squirrels. Have you ever seen a baby squirrel? They are cute as a button, and tempting enough to bring home if one doesn't have common sense (even then, it's pretty damn hard). So, while Thomas screamed like the little girl he most definitely is not, Jay handed over one of the baby squirrels and let me examine my prize. Upon examining I saw the gazillions, yes, that's an accurate number, of fleas and mites crawling over this poor little fella. I tried to convince the adults to let there little ones touch 'im, but when that didn't work I informed Jay that they were crawling with these little creatures and that we should probably put them back in their nest (the squirrels, not that fleas and mites, I didn't, and don't, know where there nest is). He obliged and we got out a ladder and I climbed up to place them back with their brethren. The mother squirrel then happily chided at us and moved her babies to a more secure location. Go in peace little friends, grow up good and strong so that you to can have babies that will fall out of badly built nests.

All in all, Easter was pretty good. I mean, my phone is now sitting in a plastic bag with strict orders to not let it out cause apparently I could catch a disease or two....whatever that is. But besides that I had a great time hanging out, talking to people I'd heard about for a majority of my Life but had never actually met. Most deff one of the best Easters I've had. In the top 15, for sure.

Ooo, and we can't forget the dyed hair. I don't have any pictures because I'm a lazy bum who doesn't like to take pictures of herself, but if I can get someone to take a picture of me I'll post it....maybe.

Spring

I so wish Spring where here, with no snow the cold is just annoying. But for now, I'll dream of Jamaica. I want to go there...doesn't it look nice?

Drink this...love my pina coladas.

And spend time with the people I love.

Hugs and Sparkles!

Two Weeks Notice

I gave mine today. Actually, it'll be two weeks and a days 'cause I agreed to work Thursday the 7th. Things just weren't going well for me, I wasn't happy. Long story short, too many issues with the boss. I'm going to miss the groomers, and Danette, but I can always stop in and see them. I don't know if I'm going to go right back to finding a job, or if I'm just going to wait until the fall when I get back from my summer travels. We'll see.

On another note, I hurt my back snowboarding. I'm not even sure what happened, one minute I was flying down the hill, next minute I was on the ground. Turns out I hurt my Sacral Iliac, so now I'm stuck doing nothing for ten days and am stuck wearing a brace until at least next Monday. Like I've said several times over the past couple of days, at least it wasn't my neck (oh so dramatic, I know) =P.

Maybe It's Just Me

But this video is hysterical. It gets me every time. He just morphs! It's insane. Everytime his voice changes I break out in fresh laughter.

And these little kids are just great. The little blond haired boy at the end is my favorite, man is he a little cutie.

Just A Little Bit of News

I, as in Olivia I, am taking Drivers Ed. Drivers of Maryland beware, I am on the road with my permit come March. Mwhahaha. And drivers of the rest of the world, I don't know when I can drive out of state (cause it's not like I was actually paying attention :P), but you too should keep an eye out. xP

Oh, and a nice big huge and pre-thanks to Danielle for changing the pick-up time to 5-9 (or 8, whatever it is) cause that'll help me in my quest for the required ten hours of evening driving. At least for a while.....anywho, sparkles and hugs to you.....Dani (just imagine Nic saying it).

So What Happens....

When your New Year resolution gets off to a bad start? 'Cause mine just did. I had minorly injured my ankle on Saturday at my soccer game, but I thought, or hoped, that it would be healed by '08. No such luck. I guess it was a minor sprain, instead of a minor twist. Go figure.
All in all it's very aggravating. Partly because I feel like somewhat of a ditz for getting hurt, partly because I actually wanted to go for a run, and partly because, like any injury, it's debilitating. It hurts to stand up for too long, it hurts to do stairs, and sometimes it even hurts just sitting around (which always sucks, throbbing pain while you're doing nothing, awful :P).
Aside from that my welcoming of '08 has been fantastic. I went to a friends house last night and had a great time. She's one of my best friends, her boyfriend and I are also really good friends, and all of her other friends are insane.....so we get along fabulously. :P We goofed off all night, shouted out the count down, and then set off fireworks. A good night by my standards.
So how'd your alls New Years Eve go?
